Meet the Team

HPBC started life as a ‘church plant’ from Fareham Baptist Church.  In 2000, the church became independent, requiring its own team of leaders to oversee the church.  The leadership structure of HPBC follows the biblical pattern of the New Testament church, with Elders supported by Deacons.

Mike & Lindsay

Elder

Richard and his wife Virginia have been part of HPBC since its inception. Richard has faithfully served the Church as Worship Leader for over 20 years. They live locally and are involved in many aspects of HPBC, including Worship, Messy Church and Bible Study.

Elder

Mike has been an Elder in the church for many years.  He and his wife Lindsay live locally. They are regularly involved with church life, particularly with regard to preaching, legal issues, Safeguarding, Messy Church and social events.
